Rob Paul handles the drumming duties for Plain Brown Wrapper.

He possesses a passion for music and has long been involved in various projects. Rob's musical beginnings can be traced to an early age when his older sisters introduced him to the music of The Beatles. From that moment on, there was a burning desire to play rock and roll. Much to the chagrin of his parents, Rob chose to learn how to play the drums. After lugging all of this equipment around for so many years, he often wonders, "Why didn't I learn how to sing?"

Musical influences are varied and eclectic. They include such artists as The Beatles, Billy Cobham, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Steve Smith, Kiss, Benny Goodman, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Spyro Gyra, Deep Purple, Glenn Miller and countless others too numerous to mention.

Rob and his wife Donna live in Novi, MI with their cat. Rob was a wedding/party DJ for 15 years, enjoys reading, watching the Red Wings, and plays a mean game of golf - computer golf, that is!!
